The Central Gippsland Tennis Regional Council aims to promote the growth and development of tennis for all ages. It hopes to do this by managing, promoting and co-ordinating tennis activities within the Central Gippsland Region.
Tennis Victoria provides funding for the Tennis Regional Development Officer program to address specific issues and undertakes initiatives within the Central Gippsland region.

What's new?
Two players to represent Victoria 5 January 2009 - Congratulations to Sophie Grumley and Nick Tile who have been selected to represent Victoria in 13 and under matches during January. Sophie will compete in Sydney and Nick in Melbourne.

Well done, young Central Gippsland players 23 December 2008 - Congratulations to Joshua Hanrahan, Robert Panozza, Sophie Grumley and Emma Waite for representing Central Gippsland region in the Ambassadors Cup. They finished fifth out of 10 teams, and played far better than the final results indicate Sophie was also selected to represent Victoria. And well done also for the young mixed squad members who represented Central Gippsland in the Wayne Arthurs Cup. The team of Stephanie Bishop, Josh Charlton, Shayla Marsh and Hayden Peavey finished 7th out of 16.
Charity Tennis Day - Newborough 23 December 2008 - The Moe Tennis Club is conducting a charity tennis tournament for the Motor Neurone Society on 1st February 2009. The competition will be in a round robin format with players being graded and seeded. Home made produce will be on sale and people are invited to donate goods for sale or auction. It's a worthy cause and promises to be a lot of fun. Contact details on our Calendar page.
Foundation Cup 27 November 2008 - Congratulations to Sophie Grumley, Sophie Kennedy, Shay leMarsh and Alex Kirkbright on being selected to represent Central Gippsland Tennis region at the Foundation Cup held on 16 and 17 November in Bairnsdale. Central Gippsland were placed fifth overall.
John Fitzgerald Cup result 18 November 2008 - Congratulations to Nic Tile, Alastair Salerno, Daniel Axnick and Jarryd Garlick who represented Central Gippsland at the John Fitzgerald Cup in early November. The team finished equal ninth. The Cup, for 13-years players, was held in Ballarat.
